Usually, yes. Software that already does its job can stay. We connect to accounts packages, email, online shops and supplier systems where they allow it, and we confirm that a connection is possible before we promise it. If your current tools or a ready-made product are the better answer, we will say so.
We start by looking at what you have — spreadsheets, an old database or paper records. Duplicates, half-used columns and different spellings of the same customer are agreed with the people who know the data. The move is rehearsed and checked before you switch over, and it is part of the written scope and price rather than a surprise later.
A small, single-purpose system typically takes 2–6 weeks once the scope is agreed. Larger systems are delivered in stages, so each stage is usable before the next one begins. The scope and a fixed price are agreed in writing before work starts.

We train the team and hand over the documentation. Testing covers real-world cases such as changed orders, mistakes and missing information, with a clear way back if something needs correcting. After that, support is optional: Care from £195 a month covers monitoring, updates, tested backups and small fixes, and larger changes are scoped and priced as work.
You own it, including the source code and documentation. It runs on your own server or on hosting we manage from £45 a month, and it is documented so another competent engineer could support it.
